Day 15 - Returning the Van and a Day in Malahide
We part ways with the camper van and get a taxi into Malahide, our final destination. We enjoy the beach, beer, and gorge ourselves on one final dinner before we depart.
Day 14 - Newgrange, Trim, and a last-minute stay in Navan
I finally have a full Irish Breakfast, and then we make the long drive from Belfast to Newgrange to explore ancient caverns that are some of the oldest structures of mankind.
Day 13 - A Day in Belfast
We arrive in Belfast early, grab coffee and scones, and explore metropolitan Belfast—City Hall, Linen Hall Library, and the Salmon of Knowledge.
Day 12 - Giant’s Causeway, The Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede
We walk Giant’s Causeway, drive around and see various sites from Game of Thrones, and cross the rickety Carrick-a-rede bridge.
Day 11 - Glenveagh NP and Crossing into Northern Ireland
During another rainy day we explore Glenveagh National Park, drive across the border into Northern Ireland, stop for a quick walk through Londonderry, and end up staying at a hostel.
Day 10 - Connemara NP, Kylemore Abbey, and Sligo
Finally, the rain that Ireland promised falls on us during a hike in Connemara National Park. Also, another bookstore and lunch at Kylemore Abbey before the drive to Galway.
Day 9 - Morning at Cliffs of Moher, Hike at Burren NP, and Galway
A morning exploration of the Cliffs of Moher, and a brutal, rocky hike up Pancake Mountain at Burren National Park.
Day 8 - Skellig Michael and Camping at the Cliffs of Moher
The Force guides us to the island of Skellig Michael, where ancient mysteries and a rich archeological history await…
Day 7 - Ross Castle, Muckross Gardens, Ring of Kerry, and Mannix Point Campground
After a night parking above a waterfall, we visit a restored towerhouse, grand estate grounds, and drive around the breath-taking Ring of Kerry.
Day 6 - Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and Gardens, and Camping in Kilarney National Park
As we start to head west, we see the ancient Rock of Cashel, kiss the Blarney Stone, and walk through a diverse and immaculate garden.
Day 5 - Glendalough and Kilkenny

Day 4 - Wicklow Mountains
We get the camper van, load up on groceries for the cooler, and head to Wicklow Mountain National Park for grand views and beautiful hikes.
Day 3 - Dublin Castle, Tea Bus Tour, Bookstores, and Preparing for the Road Trip
For our final day in Dublin, we visit Dublin Castle, take a cute Vintage Tea Tour bus, and go back to the hostel early to prepare for the upcoming road trip.
Day 2 - Trinity College, Book of Kells, Long Room, and a Walking Tour
On the second day, we wake up early to see the Book of Kells at Trinity College as well as the Library Long Room, then we go on a free walking tour to learn more about the city.
Day 1 - Arrival in Dublin, Chester Beatty Library, and the Guinness Storehouse
After 15 hours of travel, we finally arrive in Dublin, tired and ready to explore the city, visit Chester Beatty Library, and enjoy a Guinness at the Guinness Storehouse.
